Each color leadwire is made up of 1 pcs UL1007 / 28AWG oxygen free copper (OFC) wire, and both ends are manually welded with terminals one by one. Color heat shrink tubes are used to distinguish the sound channel for easy installation.
5N Pure Silver litz wire:
30AWG 5N Pure Silver litz wire is the best wire for faster transmission speeds, lossless data and cleaner sound. It's 0.55mm outer diameter, litz construction 7 strands and each strand is 0.1mm diameter 99.999+% Pure soft annealed silver wires in oversized PTFE Teflon insulation. Woven Teflon Litz construction is ideal to deliver RFI and EMI rejection and provides low capacitance. 99.999+% silver transmits electrical signals faster and with less distortion than ordinary OFC wires. High grade Teflon insulation gives a predominant air dielectric and is regarded as the best insulator for bare cable. The 30AWG PERFECT CRYSTAL OCC (PCOCC) wire is 0.55mm outer diameter. It's litz construction 7 strands and each strand is 0.1mm diameter 99.999% 5N PERFECT CRYSTAL OCC (PCOCC) wires in oversized PTFE Teflon insulation for a more cleaner sound. Woven Teflon Litz construction is ideal to deliver RFI and EMI rejection and provides low capacitance. High grade Teflon insulation gives a predominant air dielectric and is regarded as the best insulator for bare cable. PCOCC is some of the finest copper wires available for audio and lends itself perfectly to the delicate signal transfer between your cartridge and headshell. Unlike common manufacturing processes, the PCOCC copper wires undergo a tightly controlled and extended cooling process resulting in an ideal, homogeneous structure. This 5N (99.999%) PCOCC materials is from FURUKAWA JAPAN. Terminal: phosphor copper and 24K gold plated, for 1.2/1.3mm two types of cartridge pins (description below)
Terminals are welded on leadwire by hand with lead-free environmental protection solder and equipment one by one to ensure high electrical conductivity, high reliability, durability and long life. Quality and performance are much more better than most of the pressing terminal wires!
Heat shrink tube: ROHS environmental protection material, red, white, blue, green and black heat shrink tubes are used to distinguish ports. Black is used for headshell, and color is used for cartridge, so the difference between terminals 1.2 and 1.3 lies in the color end.
Mount on cartridge according to the color of shrink tubing:
BLUE = LG (left ground)
GREEN = RG (right ground)
WHITE = L (left positive)
RED = R (right positive)
Terminal selection:
1.2 terminal is good for 1.2mm diameter cartridge pins, automatic progressive die stamping production, high reliability material phosphorus copper, 24K gold plated surface
1.3 terminal is good for 1.3mm diameter cartridge pins, produced by high-precision turning from a block of phosphor copper with advanced CNC lathe, the surface of 24K gold plating
Most of the cartridge pins are 1.2mm diameter , but some are 1.3mm diameter , so the wrong terminal selection will seriously damage the cartridge, please confirm your cartridge pin diameter and then buy the corresponding, you can use vernier calipers to measure your cartridge pin’s diameter.
